As a D3 Group or GROW Group Leader, you hold the vital responsibility of managing, facilitating, and nurturing the growth of your group each week.

Your primary objective is to guide fellow Christians in their journey towards Christ-likeness, growing through relational discipleship. Modeled after Jesus' own approach to mentoring His disciples (Matthew 28:19-20), you will lead group discussions, prayers, and fellowship activities (Acts 2:42).

D3 Groups Only: As part of your role, you'll regularly provide insights to our Shepherding Elders to assist in conducting Spiritual Health Checks. Collaborating with your group's Shepherding Elder, you'll actively support each member in advancing along Bent Tree's Discipleship Pathway, aiding them in their steps toward spiritual maturity.

Group Leader Requirements

• Official Member of Bent Tree Church
• Completed MGM Assessment
• Attend a Group Leader Orientation yearly
• 1-2 hours per week outside of meeting for preparation, communication, and follow-up
• Meet in a designated place once a week for 90-120 minutes
• Use a resource from the Bent Tree Resource Library or submit a resource proposal
• Follow the D3 Group or GROW Group model and approved curriculum

NOTE: D3 Groups are asked to meet at host homes to encourage relationship building. GROW Groups meet at a pre-approved time at the church or in a host home. Please provide all dates, times, and addresses you are considering.
